This study is an expansion of the original True Identity Come Closer Retreat material by the same four authors. All four authors have written and help develop other True Identity materials and have taught at various True Identity Retreats & Conferences.

JENNIFER BROMMET hails from Wisconsin and has a background in photography and graphic design. She worked for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) as Art Director in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Production Coordinator for the 1986 BGEA International Conference for Itinerant Evangelists in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. While living in Amsterdam, she met and married her husband, Remco.
God prepared Jennifer for the call to start and lead True Identity Ministries through her own personal journey from severe rejection and depression as a child and young adult to freedom through understanding and embracing her TRUE Identity in Christ, along with many years of in-depth Bible study and ministry training. She is a blended personality of Peaceful/Purposeful temperaments, with spiritual gifts of exhortation, teaching and pastoring. She has a deep passion for others to understand how much God loves them, know His Word of truth, deepen their relationship with Him, and be set free to be all He designed and desires for them to be.
Jennifer has enjoyed over thirty years of ministry adventures with God which has included; writing and materials development, organizing and leading retreats and events, international missions, teaching and speaking nationally and internationally, leading Bible study groups and small groups, marriage ministry with her husband, certification as a Neil Anderson 7 Steps to Freedom facilitator, and serving as the Women’s Ministry Director at her church in California, before moving to Georgia in 2007 and founding True Identity Ministries in 2008.
Jennifer’s love of photography began with a Brownie camera when she was eight years old. She has loved capturing God’s beautiful creation through a camera lens ever since. She also enjoys expressing herself creatively through drawing, sewing, decorating and design. She loves to travel, see new places and meet new people, and one of her favorite things is “writing with God.”
Jennifer loves being married to a European and sharing a life of ministry together, as well as being mom to her two lovely adult daughters. Remco and Jennifer live in the north Atlanta, Georgia area while their daughters pursue their dreams in other parts of the country.
REMCO BROMMET was born and raised in the Netherlands, where he met Jennifer in 1985. After getting married in 1986, he moved with Jennifer to the US. He is somewhat of a globe trotter – he came to Christ at age 18 while living in Singapore. He earned a diploma in Missions Studies from Moorlands Bible College in Great Britain, and led movements of prayer for revival and spiritual awakening in the Upper Midwest and Southern California in the US before moving to the Atlanta area in 2007. His ministry experience also includes pastorates and jail, law enforcement and fire chaplaincies.
After receiving direction from the Lord that the True Identity message was to impact every populated continent of the world and seeing doors open in East Africa and Latin America, Remco took on the role of International Ministries Director. He is also an integral part of our materials development team adapting the material for men, and co-writing the True Marriage program and TRUEPersonality profile with Jennifer.
Remco holds dual citizenship in the US and The Netherlands. He is a blend of the Powerful/Purposeful temperaments and spiritual gifts of teacher, administration, and prophesy. In addition to being a pastor, chaplain, speaker, prayer mobilizer and writer, he is an intercessor for spiritual awakening, revival and global missions. Above all he is a Christ-follower, devoted husband to Jennifer and father to adult daughters, Carina and Sophia.
DEBBIE JONES might tell you “the East Coast” when asked where she comes from because she has lived in seven east coast states, some twice! She attended the University of Florida and graduated with a BA in Anthropology.
After graduation Debbie worked in Social Services, but when her son was young, she began serving in children’s ministry at church and later in preschool. Her love for the Bible and Bible study has prompted her to serve in Community Bible Study as a children’s teacher and as a small group leader.
However the passion of her heart is inner healing prayer ministry. First trained as a prayer minister in 1998, she continues to receive training and pray with those in need of inner healing. She is a blend of the Powerful/Purposeful temperaments and has the spiritual gifts of teaching, prophesy, and
Debbie and her husband David, an entrepreneur, enjoy country living outside of Athens GA. They have a son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren in Atlanta.
Her first encounter with True Identity Ministries was attending the second women’s retreat in spring 2009. She has remained an active participant and team member since then. In her words, “I saw God working inTrue Identity and I wanted to join Him!”
JUDY MILLS is a life-long Southerner now living in the heart of New York City with her husband Nelson. She’s a friend of True Identity Ministries with the God-given personality of a Playful , and spiritual gifts in teaching, pastoring and hospitality.
Judy served in Community Bible Study for 12 years as a core leader, Children’s Director and Teaching Director. She has written and taught numerous Bible studies, including The Ultimate Joy: A Journey
in Intimacy with God. She currently serves as a women’s ministry leader at Church of the City NYC, where she teaches and mentors young women. Additionally, she leads with Pray.NYC, a movement of prayer for spiritual awakening in New York City.
She has three adult children, one daughter-in-law, three (adorable!) granddaughters and is mother-in-law to two young men.
